Epirubicin Inhibits sCD25 Secretion by Treg Cells from DLBCL Patients

چکیده
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common type of malignant lymphoma (Fan et al., 2012). Chemotherapy remains the main treatment method for DLBCL. Most DLBCL patients can be alleviated after standard chemotherapy regimens, but about 25~30% of DLBCL patients may be resistant to the chemotherapy drug and belongs to the refractory DLBCL (Liu et al., 2013). Although many new chemotherapeutic agents and chemotherapy regimens for refractory DLBCL have been reported in recent years, the outcome is not good yet. CD4+CD25+ regulatory T (Treg) cells, characterized by coexpression of CD4 and CD25 markers, are recognized as a subpopulation of suppressor T cells that is able to suppress autoreactive T cells (Sakaguchi, 2000). In many patients with malignant diseases, such as ovarian, lung, breast, liver, gastric and esophageal cancers, the population of Treg cells are usually increased (Woo et al., 2001; Liyanage et al., 2002; Ichihara et al., 2003; Ormandy et al., 2005). Interestingly, there is also a tight correlation between Treg cells and DLBCL. Interleukin -2 (IL-2), an important cytokine in vivo, is able to induce T cell proliferation and activation after binding to it receptor,

Increased interleukin-17A levels promote rituximab resistance by suppressing p53 expression and predict an unfavorable prognosis in patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma
Rituximab resistance has become increasingly common in patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). However, the mechanisms involved remain unclear. In this study, we aimed to examine the effect of rituximab on interleukin (IL)-17A and to investigate the role of IL-17A in rituximab resistance and its prognostic value in patients with DLBCL. Our retrospective analysis revealed that ritux...
متن کاملبررسی درصد سلولهای Treg در خون محیطی افراد مواجهه یافته با سولفورموستارد در مقایسه با افراد سالم
Background and Objective: Regulatory T cells (Treg) are the subgroups of lymphocytes that control inflammation response and regulates homeostasis by mechanisms of cellular contact and secretion of soluble agents. Here, we investigated percentage of Treg in peripheral blood of sulfur mustard-exposed patients with CD4, CD25, CD127, FOXP3 markers in comparison with healthy individuals and the corr...
متن کاملNew insight into the immunomodulatory mechanisms of Tretinoin in NMRI mice
Objective(s):Recent evidence have proposed that Tretinoin produced in the gut preferentially promote differentiation of FoxP3+Treg cells but inhibits Th17 lymphocytes, and this may be the main immunomdulatory mechanism of Tretinoin in vivo. This study was done to investigate the effects of Tretinoin in outbred white mice after challenge with sheep red blood cells (SRBC). Materials and Methods:...
متن کاملInfluence of Membrane CD25 Stability on T Lymphocyte Activity: Implications for Immunoregulation
BACKGROUND CD25, a component of the IL-2 receptor, is important in T cell proliferation, activation induced cell death, as well as the actions of both regulatory (Treg) and effector (Teff) T cells. Recent genome wide association studies have implicated the CD25 locus as an important region for genetic susceptibility to a number of autoimmune disorders, with serum levels of soluble CD25 receptor...
متن کاملFoxP3+ Regulatory T Cells in Peripheral Blood of Patients with Epithelial Ovarian Cancer
Background: Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of death from malignancy in women. CD4 +CD25+FoxP3+ regulatory T (Treg) cells are a subset of T lymphocytes with great inhibitory impact on immune response. Objectives: To investigate the percentage of CD4 +CD25+FoxP3+ regulatory T cells in the peripheral blood of the Iranian patients with epithelial ovarian cancer compared to healthy women ...
